I am petitioning for prayer today for my precious friend Elaine. You can go to her blog at http://www.peaceforthejourney.com/ and leave her love and prayers!
Elaine is an awesome woman of God and a woman of Faith. She loves the Lord with all of her heart and lives a life consistent with her talk.
She just found out yesterday that a diagnosis she was waiting for was NOT what she wanted. But nevertheless, it was a diagnosis that God knew all about and that He allowed. Elaine was diagnosed with breast cancer. But all of us who profess Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior know that the worlds diagnosis is not God's. God is the ultimate Healer. He is the one who has the last say in our lives and we know that He can and does heal. We know that He can do anything that He chooses.
I am lifting Elaine up to the mighty Throne of Grace and asking God to have mercy upon her. I am asking Him to do a mighty work in her life so that when all is said and done, He gets all the glory that is so due Him. I am believing God for His Word and I am claiming many scriptures over Elaine.
Please join me and many others as we pray for her fervently and consistently. That God may hear our cries and answer our pleas.
"He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20)
"He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3)
We ask all things in the precious and saving Name of our Lord and Savior, Amen

Also please be in prayer for a precious little boy named Micah who is 1 year old. His parents were missionaries overseas when they found out little Micah had cancer. They flew back to the states for further testing and found out today that he has ganglioneuroblastoma. Part of the tumor they removed was ganglioneuroma (benign) and part was neuroblastoma (cancerous). They will be doing further testing this next week to determine the stage and to make sure that it hasn't spread. Please lift up this precious family as they begin a journey of the unknown with their little boy.

LORD, You are the healer of all. You hold these precious people in Your hands and know their every cell. We pray for complete healing in each of these two knowing that You are the power and the strength, the touch and the love. We lift Elaine and Micah to You, Heavenly Father, and thank You for what You are already doing. Amen.

Praying with you Beth for our dear friend, Elaine. Asking for prayer for another friend who received the same diagnosis on the same day. Please pray for Betty from South Carolina - an old friend, who is also giving God the glory upon receiving her diagnosis. God will use these two women in a powerful way because He has redeemed their lives for His kingdom purpose!

I'm with ya here on my knees before our Father pleading for a miracle in your dear friend Elaine's life. I've also sent up a pray for precious little Micah and that God will touch him in a special way.
God bless ya girl. If ya get a chance pop over and meet a little gal named Angel who is in my SS class and Kid's Church who is fightin' for her life. I covet your prayers.
